Reuf Sipović live — Sevdah | Unplugged
Introduction
Reuf Sipović live presents Sevdah | Unplugged, an intimate acoustic trio concert. This performance brings traditional Bosnian Sevdah into a clear and modern sound. Within this setting, emotion, melody and space shape the musical atmosphere. Consequently, the music feels close, warm and easy to follow.
Musical concept
Songs in this programme come from Sevdah Reloaded. During this project, the pieces move into a small trio format. Each instrument has room to breathe. Meanwhile, guitar, voice and percussion answer each other. In addition, the sound stays rooted in Sevdah but adds Rock‑Western colours, simple Oriental lines and soft blues shades.
Repertoire
Classic Sevdah songs form the core of the programme. Alongside them, selected Macedonian pieces appear as well. As a result, both styles fit naturally into the acoustic setting. Because of this, the concert feels traditional and modern at the same time.
Trio interaction
This trio plays with clarity and care.
• Željka Antelj shapes the emotional core with her voice.
• Adam Weisman adds light percussion grooves and textures.
• Reuf’s guitar holds harmony, rhythm and many small accents.
Together, they create a personal musical story. Short themes return, change and grow. Furthermore, the open sound makes every detail easy to hear.
Concert experience
Guests can expect an intimate evening with strong feelings. Throughout the concert, the music honours the roots of Sevdah and still looks forward. In addition, it offers a simple, modern way into this music and shows the presence and depth of Reuf Sipović live on stage.
