A MODERN SYMPHONY THAT BUILD BRIDGES

“Survival” is a musical project, in which different musical styles combine in a symphony, a crossover of classic, rock, ambient, ethno and world music. Bousnia’s multiinstrumentalist, composer and producer Reuf Sipovic has created with “Survival” a work with a timeless sound and unique artistic expression.

The complex sound painting of “Survival” is not easy to classify. The style of this work gives a very intense musical experience. The variety of sounds from different backgrounds, the instrumentation, the driving flowing rhythms that give an oriental-style and atmosphere, to create an image of a multicultural world. Rarely is a symbiosis of different music styles so well presented as in this production.”

In the second part of the stage concept of “Survival (Live)”, Reuf Sipović presents “Sevdah Reloaded” Traditional Bosnian Music newly composed and arranged in his very own style.

What could I possibly present that would be better than that which already flows in my blood: “Sevdah” traditional Bosnian music.
Naturally it would have been more difficult, if the album “Survival,” with its character and musical personality, had not already brought together fantastic musicians, who all worked together in the months before the live premier of Survival to try out my ideas and arrangements as well as their own input and bring the Sevdah pieces to life, as I experience them myself.
